The NOD Summer Program invites teachers from prestigious international companies, offering an exploration of the most significant contemporary repertoires to date.

Spencer Dickhaus | Crystal Pite Repertoire | 3hrs

​

July 15 - 19 | 1 week | 3 hrs. each class

Spencer’s class will be based on the movement principles and ideals of choreographer Crystal Pite. Improvisation class will explore themes of instinct vs. intellect, articulation and dynamic. The class will be an opportunity for participants to investigate isolation and coordination through anatomical awareness and whole-body integration through sensorial movement practices.Repertoire classes will focus on these same themes and be an opportunity for participants to engage with the choreographic work through an exploratory non-performative lens.

The workshop will enable the dancers to go deep into the physical practice of Sharon Eyal, and work on the company's exclusive repertoire and working method. 
The workshop will be led by L-E-V former dancer and todays' rehearsal manager - Leo Lerus.

To Apply

Dance students with strong contemporary and ballet techniques, ages 18 and older, are eligible to enrol in the Intensive Summer Program.

 

To apply it is necessary to register in the Google doc and upload your material:

  • One video showcasing yourself in an improvisation session (1 min. max  sharing your skills/virtuosity as dancer, working with a task to your choice, tapping into what moves you as a movement artist/ sharing where you currently are in your movement research) and one minute of a set choreography  (If sending a group footage please indicate which one of the dancers is you) only Vimeo or You Tube links - NO password

  • Your short CV

Please complete all the fields in the form. If you are having trouble uploading your materials in the google form, send it to dancenod@gmail.com, please remember to include SUMMER PROGRAM 2024 in the subject line.

Only after receiving our confirmation, we will send you the registration form to be returned completed and signed along with a copy of the deposit paid to dancenod@gmail.com.

Fee

​

​The Summer Intensive Program can be individually constructed upon need and interest.

For example participating only in individual workshops, a week or  a month.

​

All inclusive EARLY BIRD - 20% | DEADLINE DECEMBER 31st | Only if interested in attending the whole 4 weeks summer program​ ( No discount will be applied on the single week )

  • ​The entire all-inclusive 4 weeks program € 2.500,00 - 20% = €2.000,00 ( Registration fee + all workshops + battle registration, ballet classes included )

All inclusive EARLY BIRD - 10% | DEADLINE JANUARY 31st | Only if interested in attending the whole 4 weeks summer program - ​( No discount will be applied on the single week )

Deposit fee

​

​

Early Bird - 20% discount by December 31st

  • ​​To secure your spot and freeze the price it's necessary to pay the deposit fee: € 500,00 ( Registration fee included )

  • Payment of full tuition can be done at your choice in one lamp sum or one deposit of € 500,00 + 2 subsequent installments of € 750,00 each as follows: 1st by January 31st, 2nd by March 1st.

Early Bird - 10% discount by January 31st

  • ​​To secure your spot and freeze the price it's necessary to pay the deposit fee: € 500,00 ( Registration fee included )

  • Payment of full tuition can be done at your choice in one lamp sum or one deposit of € 500,00 + 2 subsequent installments of € 875,00 each as follows: 1st by February 29th, 2nd by March 31st

Entire 4 weeks after January 31st

  • To secure your spot and freeze the price it's necessary to pay the deposit fee: € 500,00 + € 25,00 (registration fee).

  • To attend the whole summer program it is necessary to be a registered member and pay the registration fee of € 20,00 valid only for the summer program.  

  • You can split the payment in agreement with the administration.

Please note 

  • For those interested in more than one week of workshops it is necessary to become a NOD member. In accordance with the current Italian laws we need a copy of a current medical certificate stating that you are in good health before the starting date. In the case of residency abroad, you will be asked to have a medical certificate issued by an Italian doctor here upon your arrival. We will manage a visit for you on your arrival, this will be at your expense. 

  • If you participate in only  one week, you can choose NOT to become a NOD member. The fee will include VAT taxes, you will be invoiced ed and you will not be required to do the medical examination.

Cancellation Policy

​

Under no circumstances, even if you change your mind for any reason, is the deposit refundable. If you notify the administration in advance, you can arrange to pay the remaining amount in installments based on your needs

 

  • The organization is NOT responsible for refunding the full amount paid for participation if the workshop(s) described above are canceled due to force majeure or other uncontrollable circumstances, but only if it is caused by the organization itself.

  • Nuova Officina della danza Asd regrets that it is unable to provide reimbursements in the event of a cancellation. Please verify that you can attend the dates.

  • For particular situations regarding the replacement of any teachers for whatever reason, it is at the total discretion of the organization in making any adjustments or changes. This will be immediately communicated. With this being said, this will not be considered grounds for any type of refund requests

  • If you cannot make a lesson or lessons during workshops or a master class or normal lessons provided, exclusively for reasons attributable to the organization, it is the obligation of the organization to return the full amount paid for participation.

Method of payment

​

Fee payment should be made only after receiving our confirmation of admission and receiving the registration form via email.

  • Payment through bank transfers are made to: BANCA INTESA SAN PAOLO PIAZZA PAOLO FERRARI 10 - 20121 MILANO  - Benefiting:  NUOVA OFFICINA DELLA DANZA A.s.d.  IBAN - IT23B0306909606100000147245 BIC:  BCITITMM. It's mandatory to specify "Summer program, your name, last name, week and starting date attending or what month"  Banking expenses are asked to be charged to the student.

 

  • Payment through Paypal:  Paypal charges, around 4%  are asked to be charged to the student - NOD
