SCHOLARSHIPS

The scholarship is an opportunity provided by the Nuova Officina della Danza to support the right to education and encourage the professional training of dancers with high artistic merit and limited financial means. NOD awards 2 scholarships each year:
1. ICD International Contemporary Dance Program* - 1 scholarship covering 25% or 50% of the total cost.
2. Nuova X Professional Dance Program + ICD International Contemporary Dance Program covering 100% of the total cost.

*NOD is a non-profit association, without public or private support, the scholarships for the ICD Program are a financial commitment supported only by NOD's careful administration.
Students who apply for the scholarship are personally selected in the studio at the NOD during a complete session with the same teacher and the evaluation will take into account the requirements listed below:
Talent, preparation, aptitude and commitment, and should be able to prove their financial situation.  

Due to the high demand, NOD apologies in advance for not being able to accommodate all requests. 

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS 2024/2025

Nuova Officina della Danza, with the support of EEC Coaching Italia, offers a 100% scholarship valid for the Nuova X - Professional Dance Program and the ICD - International Contemporary Dance Program for the academic year 2024 - 2025. The scholarship covers the entire tuition for both programs from September to June and is equivalent to € 15.252,00. 
The scholarship does not cover travel expenses, meals, and accommodation, which remain the responsibility of the student.

Student admission to the scholarship is determined by the artistic direction and is based on a combination of financial need and artistic merit. Applicants must demonstrate their financial situation by providing a valid ISEE certificate for the year 2022, which must not exceed € 40,000.

REQUIREMENTS

- Residing in Italy.
- Provide a valid ISEE certificate for the year 2022.
- Be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Have a strong foundation in contemporary and classical dance.
- Submit a CV along with a personal statement outlining your motivations for undertaking the program and your professional aspirations.
- Provide a letter of reference.

To apply, it is necessary to fill out the form below with your CV, a motivational letter, a letter of reference, the ISEE certificate, and two YouTube or Vimeo video links without passwords (one improvisation max. 1 minute, one choreography max. 1 minute) by no later than April 14th. The candidate will be notified by April 19th.

Financial Support for Swedish Students

Did you know that Swedish students attending NOD can receive financial support through the Swedish National Board of Student Aid (CSN)? This funding helps cover both education and living expenses, making it easier for Swedish dancers to pursue their passion abroad.
